Joyous moments for physiotherapist

Joyous moments for physiotherapist

PHYSIOTHERAPISTS works for providing optimal conditions for muscular healing, restoration of joint ranges.

Imagine a bedridden patient sits first time on his bed.

Imagine wheelchair bound patient stands first time on walker.

Imagine first step on parallel bar.

Imagine first time standing of CP child on standing frame.

Imagine  singing efforts of a down's syndrome.

I enjoy being a Physio.
A businessmen, engineer and software friends might earn more than a physio ,bankers may have more benefits than me. But I still enjoy being a Physio because I can make someone better, because I can save a family, because I am part of a miracle many a times and because I am symbol of hope in despair.😊

My profession has given me enough. Being Physio
I am also amongst the most intelligent and the top elite professionals in the world. 😊

I am thankful to all my patients who put their trust and faith in me and I wouldn't let them down. I am thankful to Almighty  that He helped me to gain skills, which now I can contribute and can have a meaning in someone's life. 😊

Yes,
 it is stressful.
I agree,
I work very hard, without a doubt, I have many sleepless nights. I have worked days together without holidays, vacations or weekends. 😊

End of the day, it is my choice. I am leading a much easier life than those soldiers, army men, officers who stay in tents in snow, deserts and jungles and die every day for us, and what a shame they die unknown. They are doing a tremendous job as well. All professions have challenges but not all have such returns as this one. 😊

My profession has given a meaning to my life, it is my turn to justify that. I love being a  Physio, actually I feel blessed being one !!! 😊

This one is dedicated to all my Physio colleagues and friends who are doing a great job wherever they are & whatever might be the circumstances, they are making a difference in someone's life!😊

World confederation of physiotherapist views on IAP

World confederation of physiotherapist express his views on two duplicate IAP.
http://www.wcpt.org/node/24018

Look at these pictures how much struggle physiotherapists are making for field but our leaders has exploits the field they even not bothered to pay wcpt subscription fees also.

Indian Association of Physiotherapists
WCPT EX MEMBER ORGANISATION

It is with regret that, at its recent meeting, the WCPT Executive Committee determined that the membership of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists has lapsed and that, in view of the fact that no subscriptions can be demanded and paid, the provisions of Article 12.5.2 apply and the membership is terminated by the Executive Committee.

The issues within IAP have been ongoing for four years with 2 separate groups maintaining that they are the rightful Indian Association of Physiotherapists. Court action attempting to clarify this situation has been ongoing over the four years. The WCPT Executive Committee action has been taken given the lack of information about the outcome of court proceedings and the failure of either group in India to advise on the position to the satisfaction of the Executive Committee in the absence of a final court judgment. The Executive Committee has no information about who the correct representatives of IAP are and cannot satisfy itself about the membership requirements set out in Article 12.1.  Whichever group is the correct one, if indeed any group is correct at present, it is unable to comply with Article 12.3.5 requiring that the names and address of the IAP Executive Committee members be sent to WCPT.

It is further the case that the membership subscription has not been paid for several years. WCPT has not sent an invoice as it is not known to whom to send it. Sending an invoice to anyone puts WCPT in the middle of a dispute that cannot be resolved other than by a final court determination.
 It is very shameful.

Council or cancel?

PHYSIOTHERAPISTS of India are in dilemma of independent physiotherapy council. Everyone has a very strong desire of a physiotherapy council.
Paramedical bill is held like a sword on neck .
What next? Everyone in physiotherapy
Fratinity  has a common question. I have read this mantra somewhere that

Coming together is a beginning

keeping together is progress

and working together is success.

Now question is that where Physiotherapy doctors of India are ?
Which stage the are?

Physio friends be united or face the consequences

Support this lady physiotherapist. Flash this message in social media and other networks.
According to tribune In the case of termination of services of a female physiotherapist by the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA), the Mohali Deputy Commissioner has entrusted an inquiry to the Assistant Commissioner (grievances) here.Talking to Chandigarh Tribune, Deputy Commissioner DS Mangat said the inquiry in the matter would be done by Nayan Bhullar, Assistant Commissioner (grievances). “The officer has been asked to probe the matter and submit a report soon,” said the DC.
He added that earlier, the inquiry was given to the SDM, Mohali.
It is to be noted that the services of Ruchi Saini, a female physiotherapist of the women’s cricket team, were terminated by the PCA authorities when she refused to help male players in physiotherapy sessions. She was not given any notice in this regard.
Her counsel Pankaj Chandgothia alleged that his client was ordered to do jobs which did not come under her duties. She was appointed as a physiotherapist on July 1, 2015, for the women’s cricket team.

The complainant had also approached the National Commission for Women, which had, three months ago, directed the Mohali Deputy Commissioner to hold an inquiry in the complaint and submit his reportt.

Physiotherapist or physiotherapy wala

Today after seeing this I am not in mood to write anything. This is very sad to see how people even medical educated nurses don't want to recognise a physiotherapist knowingly or unknowingly.
Some time you may face this type of situations with your patients also as we don't treat them with fancy costly branded medicines, we don't prescrib costly labs and imaging to them.
Awareness about the profession is very low and so is the recognition. Our governing bodies states and national associations are a big failure.
I personally feel different strata of physiotherapists in india one is relatively new PHYSIOS which are having 0 to 3 yrs of experience. They are having less experience mostly work in other physio or orthopaedic setup or are trying to run their own setup. They are busy in finding ways to earn their bread and butter.

Second group PHYSIOS are a bit more experienced let's say upto 4-6 years mostly. They are busy to prove themselves in society.
Third are elite established sr.PHYSIOS, they have their own ego issues like why me types or government services holder which sticks to their jobs.
Over all no one have the time to think about the noble profession that is why nurses calling us physiotherapy wala.
