Useless treatments in physical therapy

Electrotherapy is useless in low back pain

The Australian Physiotherapy Association recently declared that some  treatment interventions which are commonly used by physiotherapists/ physical therapists are useless and were no longer being supported.

You would be surprised to know that electrotherapy for lower back pain and repeated manual therapy for a “frozen shoulder” are among  physiotherapy treatments, the profession now believes these are a waste of time and money which is a lose for patients and therapist also.
