Looking to get the most affordable and effective treatment: Try Physical therapy!

Looking to get the most affordable and effective treatment: Try Physical therapy!

Modern allopathic medicine has evolved through the ages and most doctors have now become “pill-pushers” meaning that there is a pill for everything in this world.  Such a practice results in the symptoms getting cured and not the main cause.
Patients are asked to move on to prescription drugs, food supplements, protein isolates, casein for recovery which are very expensive and might cause financial drain.
You might get cured but might come under severe financial strain after recovery and even your family will be affected.
Physical therapy specialists in Delhi will avoid such a prospect as they are trained to study the inter-related causes of a problem and the fact that imbalance in one area causes imbalances in another.

Explore the new technologies that Physical therapy offers!

Yes, this is in fact the best part about Physical therapy that it has evolved over time and has imbibed new technologies that will make treatment outcomes better, more accurate and more in line with patient expectations.
There are few Physical therapy specialists in the country as most doctors are involved in other systems of medicine. The following technologies have been embraced by Physical therapy specialists to offer relief for a few chronic diseases that need medical attention.
They include:
Exercise therapy
Manual Therapy
Electrotherapy
Laser therapy
Hydrotherapy
High technology medical equipment is used to cure patients and that is without medicines with high quality care.

Most patients begin to respond within a few sessions and over the long term diseases such as chronic back pain (lumbago) Slip disc, Sciatica, cervical spondylosis, lumbar spondylolisthesis, frozen shoulder, knee arthritis, RA,  tennis elbow, stress related migraine or headaches which can cause severe financial drain are eliminated from the body of the patient. He bounces back to good health, prosperity and cheer from a vulnerable position before.

Stay focused through Physical therapy!

Yes, this is important as Physical therapy will let you stay focused on your deliverable, without bothering unnecessarily about your health.  Health is real wealth and this is something that Physical therapy will make you understand as you feel good. Your overall energy levels will be higher as you learn to practice diet control, a good exercise regimen and better sleep and waking up patterns.

Since Physical therapy exercises helps activate your natural energy reserves, there is no chance of depending upon any external source or medication and will be self-dependent on recovery.

The biggest benefit of Physical therapy is in the well-being it creates in the minds of families whose members are affected. Co-dependency in the form of a family member being devoted completely to taking care of another member is fully eliminated and everybody can concentrate on their core body of work.

In order to have a better future, you need to look at the larger picture and stay healthy, fit and take very good care of yourself.  Imbibing alternative methods of medicine is a very good way to save costs and emerge stronger in a super- competitive world.

If you want to know more about Physical therapy and its magical benefits, you can see the web and obtain more information about this wonderful physio therapeutic system of medicine.

Logic or yogic

Dear physiotherapists brothers and sisters,

The Centre government 's move to include yoga in physiotherapy courses in universities is a dictatorship decision and government wants to imply this on physiotherapists of India who are already struggling for their existence with out a council.

As you all know Physiotherapy has no council on national level in India.

We should protest the yoga syllabus circulated by the UGC for inclusion in the curriculum for Bachelors of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Masters of Physiotherapy (MPT) courses to various universities

Under instruction from the Human Resource Department and AYUSH ministries, UGC secretary J.S. Sandhu on May 19 wrote to vice-chancellors of all universities to include the yoga syllabus under the BPT and MPT courses being offered by their departments and affiliated colleges.

We physiotherapists of India wants to know who was consulted before this dictatorship decision any physiotherapists or organisation representing physiotherapists was consulted or not.
Yoga have preventive qualities but on therapeutic values i am not sure if any have any evidence of that?

Physiotherapy is evidence-based knowledge that treats patients with specific interventions. If yoga is applied without proven benefits for specific problems, there is a possibility the patient's condition might worsened.

The HRD ministry had set up a panel headed by chancellor of Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhan Sansthana, that drew up the syllabus. According to the syllabus, students pursuing BPT and MPT courses would learn and practise yoga postures. Physiotherapy students would be taught the yogic perspectives from the Bhagwad Gita, Ramayan, Mahabharat, Narada Bhakti Sutras and the Upanishads. They would also learn about Bhakti and Raja Yoga, benefits of Sanskrit chants, hymns, bhajan, satsang, mantra chanting and samadhi.

The syllabus says students would learn about the use of yoga for management of cancer, where it has been found to improve the quality of life of breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, gastrointestinal disorders, musculo-skeletal problems, cerebro-vascular events such as strokes, respiratory issues, cardiovascular disorders, and endocrinal and metabolic disorders.
Why we have to research on subjects other than physiotherapy we don't have any dearth of research topics in Physiotherapy.

UGC stakeholders must be logical before making such recommendations.

Firstly, therapeutic effect of yoga for specific problems should be proven where physiotherapy interventions also required.
What is the connection between the two?

One is logic other is yogic!😠

Do IAP need membership of WCPT

WCPT (World Confederation for Physiotherapy/ physical therapy )

World Confederation for Physiotherapy/ physical therapy (WCPT) is the only international organisation for physiotherapy or physical therapy, representing more than 350,000 physiotherapists or physical therapists worldwide through its 111 member organisations/ associations.

The confederation WCPT operates as a non-profit organisation and is registered as a charity in the united kingdom.
History of confederation:

In 1951 the World Confederation for Physical Therapy had 11 founding member organisations from Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Great Britain, New Zealand, Norway, South Africa, West Germany, Sweden and the United States of America.
The first international Congress and Second General Meeting were held in London in 1953, where the first executive committee was elected.
In first ten years membership increased to 16 organisations, even though WCPT had no regular income and depended on voluntary donations from its member organisations and occasional grants from other international bodies.
The confederation consolidated its international position by attaining consultative status with the United Nations and official relationship with the World Health Organization.
In 1991, the Confederation established five Regions with autonomous regional committees to encourage frequent contact among members with similar cultural, economic and social outlook.
1995 general meeting, a range of declarations of principle and position statements were adopted for the first time, providing member organisations with foundation policy guidance about practice, education and research.

WCPT has held 15 world congresses since its establishment, held every four years.
World Physical Therapy Day, established by WCPT in 1996, has grown in popularity and influence. Every year physical therapy organisations all around the world organise campaigns and events to celebrate and publicise the role of physical therapists. So in nut shell WCPT is the backbone of the noble profession physiotherapy and we should proud of it.
Irony with country like our is we don’t have subscription to this confederation, as our association in India don’t have time to handle their internal disputes and got registered in world forum like  WCPT.
I hope our leaders unit one day and again attain membership subscription from WCPT.

Cut......and commissions in physiotherapy......

Cut
This morning a patient enter to my clinic. She show her old prescription and said doctor x reffer me to you. After seeing this prescription I come to know this Dr.x is a orthopaedic surgeon. This patient was suffering with calcaneal spur, after taking treatment for 6 week, having no relief now referred to physiotherapist.
I was amazed to see that his mobile phone number is also written below his prescription.
Patient took her treatment and left for her home feeling better.
I was going to see next patient, teliphone rang, it was a call on my clinic landline.
Yes, ******* physiotherapy clinic, how may I help you? I asked in a professionals way.
"Hello this is ****** Mishra from ******* orthopaedic centre. I am PR officer to Dr.x." voice from other side.
"Ok ", I said.
Are you a receptionist? He asked.
I feel a bit low, being a physiotherapist having no receptionist.
"No, I am physiotherapist", I replied.
Oh sorry, sir good morning.
Good morning. I said.
Sir Dr.x has told me to call you and to fix the cut.
Cut..... What cut ? I said.
Sir we are referring many patients to your clinic, so it is important to discuss the percentage cut for our future association. We will send more patients to the clinic from where we get more cut.
"I will tell you later" and I put the phone down.
I was feeling cheated and looted.
Standing beside my landline phone, I was thinking of this new style of earning. Earning by CUT.
Now I am in confusion what percentage of my hard earn money I had to spent on this CUT.

Friends if any one had answers to this please tell me in comment box.

SINKING FUTURE OF INDIAN PHYSIOTHERAPY !चुप्पी साधक फिजियोस

SINKING FUTURE OF INDIAN PHYSIOTHERAPY !चुप्पी साधक फिजियोस

Currently, Indian physiotherapy is in a grim situation. Physiotherapists of the country are in a future dilemma.Physiotherapists in India are loosing all hopes after division of IAP the biggest association of physiotherapist in country. Torch bearer seniors are fighting uselessly for the shake of ego. They have no idea how they are making a noble profession porous.
If we see number of students taking admissions in physiotherapy collages in India it is showing a steep low in resent past.Organisations like IMA and MCI are predominantly pressing the physiotherapy profession and if the same will keep happening  the will declare it as paramedical profession soon.
Some states like Himachal Pradesh and Utrakhand  are already having paramedical status for physiotherapists. Wages in these states are shameful.Physiotherapists are made to work in under wages even below nursing staff. Post graduate Physiotherapists are working under graduate allopaths.
If the same things keep happening.
Physiotherapy is a noble profession in this the patient is touched not only physically but also by emotionally. Healing by touch like Sai Baba and Jesus Christ  is very similar to physiotherapy so it is not only a scientific method but also a spiritual method also.

Indian physio therapists were never united in past all of them were divided on the bases of reason (North Indian south Indian) they were divided on the basis of  languages and leaders. In a country where more than half of the physiotherapist were not registered to association who one can expect that our physio community will grow and organised this way.
In 2010 physiotherapists of India seen a (funny)  revolution, a revolution on Facebook.     Though it was on a virtual platform but it has an impact on physio community.
Leader of that time have lost their path and vision and busy in earning their bread and butter, no one have time to think about profession .
I need active participation from all friends on this as comments what can be done to revive this noble profession, so that coming generation of physiotherapist  see this as a respected profession.
